Installation of Piles At 1344 Clinton Avenue

Installation of piles has commenced on Urban Pathway’s 1344 Clinton Avenue project. Once complete, the building will provide for 80 supportive housing efficiency units and supporting amenities.

An encounter with NYC Gneiss has slowed construction at Prospero Hall for Veterans. The subsurface here has some complexities, not only with rock but with soft spots of unsuitable soil as well, requiring piles. To ensure that we are not undermining their rail works, Metro North monitors progress at this site.

Shiloh Obtains Certificate of Occupancy

At the cusp of the New Year on Friday December 28, 2012, Shiloh Senior Housing obtained its temporary certificate of occupancy, permitting forty seniors to move into their new home. The milestone was achieved as a funding deadline of the 31st loomed, requiring an all-hands-on-deck effort from the GC (Sisca NE), Developer (Westhab/Shiloh), Owner’s rep (Olivebranch), HUD, the City of New Rochelle, and UAI. With only finishing touches remaining, the ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for this Spring.
