Hasan brings his enthusiasm and energy to everything he does. His positive approach invigorates his colleagues – whether he’s designing, coordinating the solution to a tricky construction problem or recruiting participants for the office’s March Madness bracket challenge.
Over the course of several years with UAI, Hasan has been integrally involved on several projects including the Stone House supportive residence for single mothers with children in East New York, Brooklyn developed by Women In Need (WIN) and a new building for the WellLife Network on East 165th Street in the Bronx. He is a key team member in the development of the office’s first Passive House project, a multifamily residential building in the Melrose section of the Bronx. His drive and focus led him to be the youngest-ever registered architect in New York State.
Now a project manager, Hasan has also taken on the thankless task of coordinating IT support to keep the office running smoothly. Combining his design skills and thorough management process with his personable, engaging manner allows Hasan to pull the best from the development team, encouraging others to also fully commit to giving their strongest efforts to each project.
