Brinda’s relaxed and easygoing manner balances her intellectual interest in the study of architecture and urban design as pursued through her studies in California and India.

Brinda started off her career in India as an architectural designer in Bangalore, a cosmopolitan megacity that brings together people of many faiths and backgrounds. Building on a Master’s degree thesis that studies stackable microunits as a response to the affordable housing crisis, she brings her take on urban issues and design to her projects at UAI. Ranging from the rehabilitation of several Lower East Side residential buildings to various new construction supportive housing buildings for some of UAI’s regular clients, Brinda’s work continues to build on her experiences as an architect and designer across two continents.
