UAI undertook all aspects of the exterior restoration work from field surveys, structural problems, and historical research to contract documents and construction supervision for this 1888 granite landmark postal facility and court house and its 1930 terracotta post office and court additions.

The $4.5 million project involved restoration and conservation of brick, granite, iron, terracotta, steel, slate, and built-up roofing, flashing, gutters, scuppers, downspouts, interval leaders, cast stone, and decorative and structural metals as well as cleaning, restoring, repointing, vandal-proofing, and replacement of over 800 deteriorated terracotta units.
