This comprehensive approach includes Alen’s thorough understanding of the real estate market and the mastery of complex zoning resolution and building codes, combined with his broad understanding of the construction process including cost control. Alen has extensive experience in the design and development of mixed use and multi-family residential buildings from the initial site selection/feasibility phase through design development, construction documentation and construction administration.  This allows him to foresee potential issues at each phase, while also developing design solutions that combine efficiency with aesthetic and functional grace.

Alen has been practicing architecture in the tristate area since 1999 and has been with UAI since 2004, becoming a principal in 2014. Throughout this time, he has been responsible for over 1,000 residential units and construction worth over $200 million dollars.
